The optical industry has gathered in Orlando for Vision Expo 2026, one of the most important events for optometry, ophthalmology, and the broader vision care community. This year’s show represents a major shift for the industry. For the first time, Vision Expo East and Vision Expo West have combined into a single annual event, creating a larger and more concentrated marketplace for innovation, education, and business development.
For eye care professionals attending the event, Vision Expo 2026 offers a unique opportunity to evaluate new technologies, explore emerging trends, and connect with leaders across the optical and medical device industries.
A New Chapter for Vision Expo
Vision Expo has served the optical industry for more than four decades. The 2026 event marks an important milestone as the show transitions into one unified annual gathering for the entire vision community.
By bringing the East and West shows together, the organizers have created a single event designed to deliver greater value for attendees and exhibitors. The new format allows more collaboration, more product launches, and a stronger industry presence under one roof.
The upcoming Vision Expo schedule includes:
- Vision Expo 2026 – Orlando, Florida
- Vision Expo 2027 – Las Vegas, Nevada
- Vision Expo 2028 – New York, New York
This rotating format helps ensure accessibility for professionals across different regions of the United States.

Micro Medical Devices Is Attending – Booth# (3213)
We are excited to be at Vision Expo 2026 and look forward to connecting with the clinicians, optometrists, and ophthalmologists who rely on our devices every day. Vision Expo is always one of our favorite events of the year not just to showcase what we build, but to hear directly from practitioners about what they need their equipment to do.
This year we are showcasing the full PalmScan platform alongside our latest updates to the VF2000 visual field analyzer family. If you have been considering upgrading your diagnostic equipment or simply want to see what portable ophthalmic technology looks like in 2026 come find us on the floor stand 3213.
