About Micro Medical Devices
Micro Medical Devices is a technology company that specializes in solving practical challenges of the modern doctor. Founded in 2002, the first Micro Medical product was realized in 2005 with our A-Scan device, a handheld device aimed at helping physicians measure the depth and thickness of the eye’s internal structures using ultrasound technology.
In the years to follow, Micro Medical has focused on continually expanding our product line to meet the evolving needs of our customers, resulting in the selection of advanced technology that we offer today.
The Micro Medical Mission
What drives Micro Medical Devices is a dedication to producing high-quality handheld versions of critical tools that doctors use globally.
We believe that you should have access to the industry’s best technology without having to sacrifice practice space or patient flow. Our devices are designed to increase efficiency without sacrificing the standard of care your patients expect from their doctor.
The PalmScan VF2000
As we’ve grown over the years, so has our expertise, our product line, and our understanding of the needs of our customers. In 2018, that culminated in us being the first to market with a virtual reality headset that changed the way practices could offer comprehensive visual field testing to patients: The VF2000 Visual Field Analyzer.
Replacing the bulky, expensive equipment of the past, the VF2000 can be used anywhere in the office and can be used in a way that’s more comfortable for a larger number of patients. This device is reinventing the area of visual field analysis because it offers doctors a way to expand their diagnostic effectiveness without the same space or cost considerations as conventional equipment.
We wouldn’t be able to create a culture of continuous innovation without the faces that make up our company. Micro Medical was founded nearly two decades ago by highly trained, dedicated engineers, which is shown today in our commitment to quality and practical application. Read on to meet our leadership:
